Today's Tittle: Obround

Learn all you need to know about it in 30 seconds or less.

A RECTANGLE WITH ROUNDED ENDS, LIKE A CAPSULE OR A RACETRACK.

An obround is a rectangle with semicircles at both ends, a form you see everywhere from text frames to buttons.

The name is built from oblong (a stretched rectangle) and round, so it’s really a literal explanation of what it is.
Over time, designers picked up the term from engineering, and now obrounds appear in everything from UI buttons to subtle text frames and tags.
